PROGRAMME FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT WEEKEND
This weekend will be a joint effort of G’Day Australia and Rotary with support from Study Adelaide.
Study Adelaide is the Government organisation and website for studying in South Australia as an International Student.
FRIDAY DECEMBER 2nd - Euan Miller PDG 9520 and the 20 students will arrive at 4.00pm on Rex and be picked up by and introduced to their home hosts.
On Friday night, dinner is at the Marina Hotel.
- Marina Hotel has been booked – must advise number – 8682 6141
- Rotarians will pay for their own meals.
- Student’s meals will be subsidized by Study Adelaide.
- Our numbers attending to be confirmed
SATURDAY DECEMBER 3rd - 4WD tour from Sleaford to Wanna in the Lincoln National Park through the Sand hills with a picnic lunch arriving back in Port Lincoln mid-afternoon.
- Mike Leech is arranging this part of the weekend.
- Need to liaise with him about arrangements
On Saturday evening, Rotarians will be guests of the students as Euan and the students prepare an international meal for us.
- Venue will be the Port Lincoln Golf Club
- Golf Club has been booked – Liz Weatherspoon – 8682 5957
- Cost for Rotarians will be $15.
- Need to confirm our numbers
SUNDAY DECEMBER 4th - Swim with the Tuna - leaving Port Lincoln at 10.00am and returning at 1.00pm.
- Has been booked for 25 – need to advise numbers to them – Shelley Fiegert
- The cost for trip will be $60 per person.
- Need to ascertain how many Rotarians are going.
On return we can either
- have lunch together, or
- have free time with the home hosts
Return guests to airport in time for the 5.20 flight with Rex.
Two students are staying for two extra nights. They have arranged their own accomodation

District Governor nomination.
'One of the most important functions of our annual duties is the nomination and appointment of a District Governor for 3 years hence. To serve as Governor is a privilege and an honour for both the selected nominee and for the home club. Our constitution and bylaws require me to call for nominations from all clubs in the district and that is why I wish to impress upon you the following.
I ask that you consider the selection guidelines and any suitable candidate from within your club and by the 20th of February 2012
1. Nominate the candidate, by filling out and
2. Returning the signed Combined Data Form to me via email or hard copy.
