Jenk's Jottings |
Welcome to the first message for this year.
Congratulations to our latest Paul Harris Fellows Greg Paterson and David Johnston. Both fully deserved and emotionally received on the Changeover night which went off well.
Best wishes and congratulations to P.P Colin West and his team. A great job done by all.
As we have agreed to send or cards in lieu of flowers for birthdays, I need a volunteer(s) to attend to this relatively simple task. Please contact me asap for details as birthdays are accruing as you read this note.
I will have contacted the operators of the more urgent jobs prior to the meeting on 5th July 2011 to ensure a smooth changeover. Programmes and rosters will be publicised in the bulletin as usual.
Please note incoming student Marjorie Jessin (France) will arrive on 28th July 2011 and we look forward to meeting with her.
Great to hear that Ian Newland has come through his operation in Adelaide and we look forward to his return.
We trust Jean Welfare is recovering and wish her well.
Noel
