HAVE FUN IN ROTARY   HELP A MATE

  Col's Carry-on

Last meeting was different in that we had quite a number

of members with messages to get across. Of  interest was

Allan Smith’s detail on the Mega BBQ; well done guys.

It would be nice to see a few members give up 3 minutes

of their pre-dinner time to introduce themselves to

visiting Rotarians. Are we asking too much ?

Dianne and I overnighted in Arno Bay on Thursday night and joined the Crabbers. On arrival at 5.00pm Happy Hour was well under way in the Hendo Marque. The ‘sad’ news was that they couldn’t get to the camp BBQs till after 7.30. Before we left them Friday pm the boats were back with good hauls of crabs. Thanks fellows, we enjoyed a crab dinner Sat. night. Hope the trip finished as well as it started.

V.P. Ron will be in the chair this week, so unfortunately I’ll miss the Hancox Story. Also on the night there will be a number of forms going around so please help out where you can.

Colin

Have fun in Rotary

JUST A THOUGHT  —

You wouldn’t worry so much about what people really thought of you if you knew just how seldom they actually do.

HELP A MATE -

Remember that mate that seems to have withdrawn

from contact. Take him to lunch, fishing or just for a coffee. One on one.
