HAVE FUN IN ROTARY HELP A MATE |
|
Col's Carry-on |
Well, another glass of water and we could have kept Chris
Stone talking for another hour. It certainly was interesting to
hear of their journey and to see the visuals. Many of our
members have interesting stories also.
On Friday I went to the CORES program about how to cope
with suicide risk people. The program was well run by two
dedicated E.P. ladies. The incidence of depression in the community is far
higher than most people assume.
Tonight we look forward to a frank presentation on Prostate Cancer by Dr. Peter
Krige. Please feel free to address questions to him afterwards.
Next week is Committee Meetings and we will have no speaker at our dinner. I
have suggested a discussion topic for these meetings - see other page.
Colin
Have fun in Rotary.

BRAINSTORMING FOR IDEAS.
Brainstorming enables people to suggest ideas at random without evaluating them first. All members are encouraged to participate, dismiss nothing, and not criticise any suggestion. ( Some ot the best ideas can initially appear daft. ) Record all suggestions for later analysis.
SUBJECT FOR COMMITTEE MEETINGS NEXT WEEK.
What can we do to attract younger members, future leaders of the community, to Rotary.
